LG is set to launch their newest 34-inch curved LCD monitor, the 34UC88-B. Adopting an AH-IPS panel (sRGB coverage of 99%), this ultra-wide 34-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels and provides 21:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio (DCR 5,000,000:1), 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms (GTG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles.
Not only that, the monitor is also packed with a number of advanced features including Black Stabilizer – to increase the visibility of the dark scene, Flicker-Safe function – for ensuring a zero-flickering viewing experience and Blue Light reduction function – for reducing eyestrain.
Equipped with built-in MaxxAudio corresponding stereo speakers (7Wx2), the 34UC88-B provides 2x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort input ports. The LG 34UC88-B will begin shipping from March 24th for 112,000 Yen (about $989). [LG]
